If i were to develop a nationwide campaign to convince the community to to drink tap water, I'd use the slogan "Take Back the Tap". As consumers, we have been taught to view tap water as less appealing compared to bottled water. Take Back the Tap creates an image and platform for individuals to take back what is rightfully theirs, the ability to choose tap water without fear. It's an empowering slogan that gives people the idea that they have the right to healthy, safe, and free sources of drinking water, which many times is located within their own homes.
However, I'd still like to be mindful and recognize that there are communities that do not have access to safe drinking water. For this reason, I'd like to create a portion of the campaign solely dedicated to helping communities advocate for safe drinking water.

Hi Nalleli,
ReplyDeleteThat's a great campaign slogan. You're right there is definitely a negative association of clean, tap water in my cases people might even say or think that it was an oxymoron to associate the two together. I like that your campaign is advocating for safe drinking water for those communities that don't have access to it.
